after thinking about it, the missing log books don't concern me, or at least
would concern me less if we do our due dilegence on 976 and find it to be
overall a solid palne. I had resale value stuck in the back of my mind but I
think if we find 976 to be worth investing a new engine and avionics into then I
think we'd end up with a plane we'll be happy with for a long time. If we
can get Tim to buy into the upgrades Bob mentioned then I'm all for it.
