Most of these pictures were taken with ASA 200 35mm Fuji film, and developed using Kodak's Picture Disk service. I've tried several services with Madeline's pictures, and Kodak's is by far the best, both for picture quality and for ease of use.
The latest series of pictures (from August 1999 onward) have been done with Kodak's PictureCD. This gives much higher resolution (1024x1536) but much larger JPEG files (about 500KB for each picture). I have to rescale them to avoid using excessive disk space on the web server.
